He was everything we had hoped for and more. We were so impressed at his calm demeanor even when surrounded by numerous dogs and people at the show. Unfortunately I heard from some people there that they saw a CAS at a show that was very aggressive and if I remember correctly, even excused for it. It’s frustrating to hear things like that when it is NOT the standard for these dogs and NOT how they should be bred or taught to behave. Teddy was so very different form what they saw at that show. They loved what a CAS from a responsible breeder should act like. He was the talk of the crowd! My husband and I heard all kinds of positive comments about Teddy while you were in the ring. It became really crowded at times but not once did Teddy display any aggression. At the same time he always kept a watchful eye over his momma! The bond he formed with you is quite evident and very touching. He was a great example of thoughtful breeding and caretaking. You can tell FoxFire is doing a great service to this breed and it really came through in our conversations. Needless to say my husband and I really bonded with Teddy in the few hours we spent with him on Saturday. The only problem is that now we are in love and both miss him. J We have been waiting a long time for circumstances to be right for a CASD and now that the moment is coming closer it can’t seem to come soon enough! If our CASD is anything like Teddy he’ll be a BIG part of our family, both literally and figuratively, for a long time to come! We look forward to seeing Teddy and all the “kids” when we visit FoxFire Farms over the holidays and appreciate your hospitality both at the event and after. Once again, thank you for introducing us to this wonderful breed and for continuing to be a great steward for the Central Asian Shepherd Dogs. Thank You, Peggy McGann-Girard Financial Advisor
